Since conceptual and preliminary hydrology
studies are imperative to all
civil engineering projects, Taney Engineering maintains a highly
trained
and experienced Hydrology Department. Our firm experience includes
the designing of storm water collection and conveyance facilities,
both
open and closed conduits; sizing of inlets and structures, transition
structures; culvert sizing and dimensioning and other associated
hydrology/hydraulics. Our Hydrology department has significant
experience working with the governing entities including Clark County
Regional Flood Control District, Federal Emergency Management
Agency, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Nevada Department of
Environmental Protection and the Environmental Protection Agency.
