Taney Engineering provided civil engineering and land surveying for this 6.7-acre site as a subconsultant to KNIT Architecture. The design of the school is a prototype comprised of a 50,079 sf, two-story building with a second floor connecting the library. This replacement also includes a 12,384 sf, single-story Kindergarten-PreK classroom building complete with site amenities that include a children's playground and turf areas. In addition, to the replacement and modifications, upgrades are being made to the 11,000 sf existing multi-purpose and administration building. The new school will accommodate 720 students. Civil site design included demolition, utilities, water/sewer, drainage, parking, curb & gutter, lighting, sidewalks, ADA, and playground.
