As a subconsultant to JMA Architects, Taney Engineering was the Civil Engineer of Record for the site planning and design for this award-winning, innovative City of Las Vegas Fire Station No. 6 and College of Southern Nevada Instructional Classroom integrated project. The fire station is a fully functional facility and the instructional facility teaches students Fire Sciences and Paramedics as part of CSN’s curriculum. This project received LEED Silver Certification by the USGBC.
