Taney Engineering is the Civil Engineer of Record for the design of the new Healing Center Campus for St. Jude’s Ranch for Children. The project is located on 10 acres and offers housing and professional services for the victims of human trafficking and their families through the difficult and challenging times. The site is designed to foster healing and included site planning, permitting, utilities coordination, grading, drainage, water/sewer, paving, site lighting, signing and striping and curb, gutter and sidewalk. This site was unique in that there is a slope from the adjacent mountain, so drainage design was challenging to divert water from the site into a nearby channel and to coordinate the design around a transmission that cut through the site.
