Selected as a consultant to Westar Architects, Taney Engineering provided civil engineering and land surveying for Camp Lee Canyon Restroom Remodel & Site Improvements for Clark County, Real Property Management. Programmatic features included main restroom interior remodel, dance floor demolition, propane tank replacement, light fixture upgrades, retaining wall replacement & drainage improvements, sport court asphalt replacement, and space heater units replacements. The project is sited on 16.54 acres with less than one acre disturbed for the project. The site improvements required selective demolition of existing timber retaining wall, construction of a new CMU retaining wall (120 LF x 8 FT high) and design and engineering to route drainage and runoff water around the building structures through a riparian channel with Gabion retaining walls to reinforce the site.
