This project consists of resurfacing two parking lots at Lone Mountain Discovery Park in Las Vegas. The project consisted of slurry sealing and coating parking lot #1 of 52,535SF with 85 vehicle spaces and parking lot #2 of 12,246SF with 32 vehicle spaces. Taney redesigned all ADA parking stalls and sidewalk areas to ensure compliance with current ADA codes. This resulted in multiple areas where concrete was used for the ADA parking area and the sidewalk ramps and signage was replaced. Additionally, the design included adding a concrete valley gutter to a portion of the south parking lot where a lack of proper drainage resulted in large potholes and pavement deterioration. Taney Engineering provided land surveying, engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates as well as construction administration services delivered in three phases.
